Objective of the game

Among Us is a multiplayer-only game reminiscent of the board game Werewolves of Thiercelieux. During each game, there is at least one impostor among the 10 participants. Their goal is to eliminate the other players without getting caught. Conversely, the crew members' goal is to identify the impostor among them and eject them to win the game. Each time a body is discovered, the players must debate among themselves to try to figure out who committed the crime. Crew members can also win the game by completing all their tasks, which take the form of mini-games that the impostors can sabotage.

Among Us can definitely provide you with enjoyable evenings of manipulation and betrayal among friends. It is a game that will undoubtedly develop your powers of deduction and/or manipulation, while remaining fun and light-hearted.

Exclusively multiplayer, the game is only fun if you play with friends using voice chat. There is blood and severed heads/limbs, but in a very fun cartoon style.

Online interactions If the player starts an online game without their friends, they will meet other people with whom they can chat in the voice chat.

Violence Some animations depicting the elimination of crew members feature violent actions, but always in a cartoon style.

Benefits for the player

Argumentation Players must constantly argue to prove their innocence or convince their teammates of the identity of the real imposters, which requires a certain amount of eloquence if voice chat is enabled.

Mutual aid : Both crew members and impostors must manage to agree among themselves in order to win the game.

Observation In the game, players must be very attentive to their surroundings in order to detect suspicious behaviour from other crew members. On the other hand, impostors must eliminate other players as discreetly as possible so as not to be exposed.
