Objective of the game

Minecraft is a first-person game in which the player sees through the eyes of their character. In this block-based world, players are free to do whatever they want and set their own goals. At any time, it is possible to destroy blocks in order to collect them. These can then be combined to create new objects. Thanks to this, it is possible to build your own house or even your own city. While the experience can be enjoyed alone, it is also possible to join other players for shared adventures.

The testers' opinion

Minecraft is the ultimate sandbox game and the most rewarding gaming experience of recent years. Beneath its minimalist appearance and unassuming visuals (no pun intended) lies ingenious and rewarding gameplay that constantly calls on the player's inventiveness and allows them to shape their world within the limits of their imagination.

In brief

Points to watch out for

Online interactions If the player decides to join an online server with other people, it is possible to interact with other players via text chat.

Playing time It is easy to lose track of time when playing Minecraft because there is always something to do, a cave to explore, a house to fix up, etc.

Benefits for the player

Planning Once the player is comfortable in this world, they will need to get organised in order to progress properly. Organise their resources, arrange their house in the best possible way, monitor their fields, etc.

Imagination By giving players carte blanche, Minecraft appeals to their imagination and creativity. Create the most impressive city, reproduce real-life monuments or paintings, etc. Anything is possible, and that is what makes the game so powerful.

Rich gaming experience Ten years after its release, Minecraft remains one of the most popular games in the world and the benchmark in its genre. The game is regularly updated, and players constantly feed their creativity into the servers, allowing players to continually renew their gaming experiences without ever getting bored.
