In an ever-changing digital environment, the protection of minors requires the ability to carry out rapid, reliable analysis that is grounded in the realities on the ground.
Through its Observatory, the e-Enfance / 3018 Association has equipped itself with a strategic tool to document risks, analyse phenomena objectively and enhance the effectiveness of initiatives aimed at children, young people, families, professionals and public decision-makers.
Understanding digital behaviour and the mechanisms of harassment
Designed as a tool for expert analysis and monitoring, the Observatory draws in particular on data from the 3018 helpline, a national service dedicated to victims, witnesses and perpetrators of online harassment and violence, as well as their parents and professionals.
By analysing the reports received, the cases handled and the trends observed on the ground, it helps to identify new forms of online violence, alert the authorities and platforms, and produce practical recommendations.
