APEX Legends is an online-only first-person shooter game in the Battle Royale genre. It is a game mode in which 60 players divided into 20 teams of three are dropped onto an island. They must then kill each other until only one team remains alive. Within each squad, each player embodies a different character with specific skills. On the ground, players must collect equipment in order to survive.
To say that Apex Legends surprised us would be an understatement. Free, colourful, fast-paced, fluid, tactical... there's no shortage of qualities in this unlikely but perfectly legitimate blend of hero shooter and battle royale. Admittedly, the adrenaline rush isn't quite the same as when we first played this genre, but the innovative game design and enhanced team play make Apex Legends a surprisingly accurate and justified title, as if Battle Royale had taken a step further, ennobling its gameplay to make it both deeper and less frustrating in many ways.
In-app purchases : Although APEX Legends is free to play, it has an online shop where you can purchase cosmetic items and new characters.
Violence Based on the principle of eliminating opponents by shooting them, APEX Legends is clearly a violent game intended for an adult audience.
Online interactions During matches, you can communicate with players, whether they are on your team or not, using voice chat.
Reflexes Like any shooting game, APEX Legends requires a certain amount of precision to successfully hit your opponents before they manage to take you down.
Mutual aid : APEX Legends requires players to play as a team, which means you need to coordinate with your teammates in order to achieve victory.
Bullying, cyberbullying, revenge porn, webcam blackmail, identity theft, exposure to violent and pornographic content, sexual violence, and all issues related to usage (overexposure to screens, video games, parental controls, account settings, etc.).
