On Monday 31 March, we had the honour of welcoming Clara Chappaz, Minister Delegate for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology, within The e-Enfance Association / 3018.
Welcomed by Justine Atlan, Chief Executive of the Association, and Samuel Comblez, Deputy Chief Executive in charge of 3018, the Minister met with our listeners and praised their unfailing commitment to young victims.
On the agenda for this introductory visit the Association's activities and its role essential in the protection of minors online, for 20 years.
• Meet our field coordinators, who work every day to raise awareness among young people, support parents and train professionals.
• Immersion in the heart of 3018, double listening, demonstration of reporting tools and the’application 3018.
A rich and constructive exchange, which enabled us to address three major issues that we have been advocating for nearly 20 years:
• Age verification. The cornerstone of protecting minors on the internet. A lever essential to protect them from inappropriate use and content.
• The growing impact of artificial intelligence in cyberbullying situations, particularly through the dissemination of deepfakes or manipulated content.
• The impact of screens on the mental health of children and adolescents, a key issue that requires collective action.
🗨️ «e-Enfance/3018 does remarkable work to help children and parents, which is essential from a mental health and overall health perspective.» — Clara Chappaz
