During lockdown, cyberbullying replaced school bullying. Online bullying has been on the rise for several years. Typically, students create a WhatsApp, Facebook or Snapchat group for their class. in which messages, but also insults or false rumours are shared with a single click for the whole class.
According to a survey conducted by the UN in 2019 among teenagers in 30 countries, one in three young people report having been a victim of cyberbullying, and one in five have missed school because of this phenomenon.
