Within the Association e-Enfance / 3018, since August 2025, the Observatory has played a key role in analysis, reflection and the production of knowledge on the digital uses of young people. Today, it is unveiling one of its emblematic educational projects, at the crossroads of the fight against online hate, the misinformation and the promoting gender equality.
In line with the Association's mission, this project places minors at the centre of the research and action.
A joint educational project with secondary school pupils
On Friday 23 January the launch of the Observatory's very first educational project. It is being carried out with the support of’Inès Legendre,Head of Advocacy, in collaboration with Platform 3018, represented by its Deputy Director Diane Salomon, and with the Association's prevention department.
Title «Fact or fiction: how do networks influence our vision of gender equality?», this project was co-constructed with Hector Berlioz secondary school in Vincennes (94).
It is part of a workshop cinema option for pupils in 3rd.
Developing a critical approach to online content
This project aims to help students make informed choices about their digital habits, particularly in the face of :
- to the phenomena of misinformation,
- to hate speech broadcast online,
- content that calls into question the’equality between women and men, to certain so-called masculinists.
Deployed over a period of six months, The project is based on an active and immersive teaching method, combining :
- decoding workshops information written, oral and audiovisual,
- of advocacy battles,
- times of forum theatre,
- the production of video capsules, based on scenarios devised by the students themselves.
This project is a concrete illustration of the Observatory's ambition: linking research, the field and prevention, to help young people understand digital issues. It also provides a valuable basis for the development of larger-scale research projects, which the Association is proud to bear.
