Samuel Comblez, Child and Adolescent Psychologist and Director of Operations for the Association, was interviewed on the set of FranceInfo, to respond to the implementation of the questionnaire’self-assessment on harassment distributed to pupils from Year 5 to Year 13 on the occasion of the «No to Bullying" day.
As a reminder, this grid comprises four groups of questions: « before going to school », « at school », « on the internet or on screenss» and « How are you feeling? »with 33 questions for primary school pupils and 44 for secondary school pupils. It is an individual assessment designed to evaluate the number of pupils likely to be victims of bullying.
This tool is a good thing. Samuel Comblez explains: «This will encourage children, parents and teachers to discuss this issue together. The idea is to make children understand that bullying is a concern for all schools in France, in order to encourage them to speak freely.»
He also emphasises: «This questionnaire will enable us to have a assessment of the situation, because the figures we had until now were more than ten years old.»
