On 10 November, during the 5th Paris Peace Forum, French President Emmanuel Macron launched the Online Child Protection Laboratory. The’Association e-Enfance/3018 is a founding member and will sit on its Executive Committee.
Justine Atlan, its Chief Executive Officer, took part in the inaugural round table held at the Élysée Palace, alongside Charlotte Caubel, Secretary of State for Children, Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister Delegate for Digital Transition, Brigitte Macron and other figures from the digital sector.
This initiative follows the appeal launched at the 4th edition of the Paris Peace Forum by Emmanuel Macron, UNICEF, seven other states, a dozen NGOs, and most major digital platforms (including Amazon, Dailymotion, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Qwant, and TikTok).
These actors have committed to implementing a series of measures to better regulate the digital space, protect children online and combat various forms of cyberbullying.
