On National Day Against Bullying in Schools, Emmanuel Macron announced a series of measures to «turn the tables on shame».
In a video posted on social media on 18 November, the president noted that bullying continues to be rampant in schools and on social media, despite initiatives already taken by the government, including the establishment of the toll-free number 3018 for cyberbullying.
The Head of State has unveiled a new application: «Faced with cyberbullying, a 3018 app will be launched in February to enable victims and witnesses to send screenshots of harassment situations so that they can receive even better support. This app will complement the 3018 system to facilitate reporting by sending screenshots.
Managed by the e-Enfance Association, 3018 is the national helpline for digital violence. Free, anonymous and confidential, it can be accessed by telephone or live chat at 3018.co.uk as well as via Messenger and WhatsApp
