On Thursday, 4 November, to mark International Anti-Bullying Day, President Emmanuel Macron welcomed the e-Enfance Association to the Élysée Palace, accompanied by secondary school pupils who had been victims of bullying.
On behalf of these children, who have been scarred by bullying and who found in him a listening ear, attention and a willingness to act, we extend our sincere gratitude to the President of the Republic. This is a first in the Fifth Republic.
Our Managing Director Justine Atlan answered questions from the Head of State on the challenges involved in improving cyberbullying prevention and the responses needed to provide comprehensive support for young victims of bullying.
Three influencers who were victims of harassment shared their experiences. All of them were strongly encouraged by Emmanuel Macron to strengthen and promote the 3018 helpline that had supported them, and to raise awareness of the issue on social media.
