SUMMARY
After Chicago (the city of the first instalment), San Francisco becomes the second city to adopt ctOS (a mass surveillance system). The player takes on the role of Marcus Holloway, a brilliant young hacker from Oakland. During his childhood, he was wrongfully accused of a crime he did not commit by the new version of ctOS. Realising that this system could cause harm to the citizens of San Francisco, he decides to join a group of 'hacktivists» called DedSec. He wants to bring down ctOS and its creator, Blume.
