As part of the trial for harassment and death threats towards young Mila (1) of the three-month suspended sentences to four months' imprisonment were handed down by the Paris Criminal Court against six men and women aged between 19 and 39. The trial held those responsible for hate speech online accountable for their actions. During the first trial, Mila commented: »I never want victims to be made to feel guilty again.»
(1) According to her solicitor, Mila has received over 100,000 hateful messages and death threats on social media since her video in January 2020.
