Cyberviolence: 3018, a helpline for victims. Alongside the Covid-19 pandemic, cyberviolence is skyrocketing: on social media (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Discord, etc.), insults, threats, blackmail involving webcams, stolen videos or photos, and humiliation are now commonplace.
In February 2021, the e-Enfance Association noted a 57% increase in online violence compared to 2019, particularly among young people aged 15 to 17.
To tackle this worrying phenomenon, the Secretary of State for Children and Families and the e-Enfance Association have just launched (as part of the Covid-19 Emergency Plan for Children) a helpline for victims: 3018.
