Safer Internet Day
Safer Internet Day will celebrate its 15th anniversary on 11 February. This annual international event aims to promote a safer internet for young people by encouraging responsible behaviour. The event is organised around the European Insafe network, which operates in 31 countries across Europe.
The e-Enfance association, a member of the Safer Internet France consortium, is partnering with TikTok to raise awareness among young people and their families about good digital practices, for a safe and controlled online experience.
A fun quiz designed to raise users' awareness of good online practices.
Maintaining a positive and supportive environment is everyone's responsibility. Therefore, TikTok and the association e-Childhood have developed a quiz – accessible directly on the application – which invites users to configure their account. TikTok to navigate safely.
This means that users of the platform can test their knowledge and best practices online and discover the many security and digital wellbeing features available on TikTok and assess their reactions to any inappropriate behaviour they may encounter online.
The quiz also serves as a reminder:
- The importance of not remain isolated when faced with cyberbullying situations and to contact e-Enfance and its national helpline Net Ecoute.fr 3018* to be able to receive assistance and advice; ;
- To use the many privacy and security features proposed by the application TikTok ;
- Manage your time spent using the application responsibly by configuring the feature. «Time management» which allows you to limit the daily use of the application.
e-Enfance and its national helpline Net Ecoute.fr 3018* are available Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm (6pm on Saturdays) to listen, advise and assist young people and their families with reporting issues relating to their digital lives.[vc_column width= »2/3″]The quiz also serves as a reminder:
