The Association e-Enfance / 3018 was honoured to take part in the «A single colour, that of the jersey».», organised to mark the International Day for the elimination of racial discrimination, by the French Football Federation at the legendary Clairefontaine.
Bringing together young people from all over France, the tournament conveyed a strong message: sport must be a vehicle for inclusion, respect and living together, free from all forms of discrimination or violence.
A stronger commitment to combating violence in sport
With almost 3 million members, the Fédération Française de Football is a major player in French sport, providing clubs with a framework for their development. educational and associative structure for all young athletes.
In this context, the participation of our youth workers in this event enabled them to hold direct discussions with young people about the challenges of digital technology: cyberbullying, online safety, the impact of screens on mental health... These are all essential subjects to help young footballers better understand the opportunities and risks of digital technology.
Agreement signed to protect young athletes
We are particularly proud to announce the signature of a partnership agreement with the FFF - French Football Federation
This collaboration marks the commitment of both entities to the protection of minors in all spheres of their lives, including sport:
- Raising awareness of digital risks among young athletes and the impact of their digital presence on their lives as future top-level athletes.
- Turning sports grounds into prevention areas and protection for these young people.
- Raising the profile of 3018 in sports arenas, a national number dedicated to digital harassment and violence, including in sport.
With this new partnership, we are stepping up our efforts on behalf of children and teenagers, both at school and in sports clubs. We are proud to see the FFF join the other sports federations already working alongside us to better prevent online risks and support young people in dealing with harassment.
