On Tuesday, 7 May, the Association signed a partnership agreement with the French Swimming Federation (FFN) held at the new Olympic Aquatic Centre in Saint-Denis, a symbolic venue in this momentous Olympic year.
As a reminder, violence in sport, whether psychological, sexual or physical, continues to increase and young people are the first victims. According to the 2023 activity report of the Department for Sport and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, on violence in sport, 77% of victims were minors at the time of the events.
Awareness-raising initiatives and support for young victims with 3018
This agreement with the FFN will enable, on the one hand, the implementation of’awareness-raising activities for the young graduates, the educators and supervisors on the harassment and the digital violence. On the other hand, it also provides for the’support for young victims of digital harassment and violence in the swimming community thanks to device 3018.
A partnership that enriches those already established with several sports federations and reinforces our commitment to giving victims a voice.
