Sud Radio – Justine Atlan on digital violence

Justine Atlan, The Association's Chief Executive Officer was interviewed on South Radio about digital violence towards minors, the place of digital technology in the family, the sharenting or even the abuses of artificial intelligence.

About sharenting, This phenomenon, where parents post photos of their children on social media, she warns: «By posting photos of your children on social media, there is a risk that these images could be taken and then shared by sexual predators. […] These are harmless photos for someone with a healthy mind, but they can be exciting for these predators.»

On the excesses of’artificial intelligence she mentioned the phenomenon of pornographic deepfakes: There is also the risk of attributing sexual images to a person when in reality they belong to someone else. Girls are often the victims of this; we still live in a society where girls» sexuality is frowned upon.» 

All of this digital violence can have serious consequences.  consequences and create traumas because it is at adolescence that we build our relationship with our bodies and sexuality.
