On 25 November, to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, a conference will be held to highlight the violence suffered by young women through new technologies: cyber violence of a sexual and sexist nature. During this conference, numerous speakers will take the floor, including the e-Enfance Association.
Organised by the Regional Observatory on Violence Against Women at the Hubertine Auclert Centre, this day will provide a better understanding of phenomena such as «sexting» and «slut shaming», forms of cyberviolence whose primary victims are girls.
On this occasion, international, European and French experts will assess the current situation regarding these phenomena.
