If you are an Orange or Sosh customer, you can enjoy free, customisable parental controls on your mobile, tablet and computer. It enables you to protect and support your child in their digital usage in the best possible way.
What does Orange/Sosh parental control allow you to do?
- Block access to inappropriate and sensitive websites (adult content, dating sites, etc.) on all mobile internet connections.
- Block video or voice calls to premium rate numbers starting with 0895, 0897 and 0899
There are two operating modes for this parental control:
- Default protection : the protection mode is then the same for all users. This is the initial mode in which the software is set immediately after installation.
- Multi-user : the filtering level is customised according to profiles (browsing time and hours, access to web categories, personal list of authorised/blocked websites). Lists are pre-designed according to age.
How do I activate Orange/Sosh parental controls?
- To activate parental controls on a computer, it is necessary download the software here.
- To activate parental controls on mobile devices, go directly to orange.co.uk > « customer area» > Log in with your teenager's mobile number and click on « my options»
