A study by the Caisse d'Épargne conducted in partnership with The e-Enfance Association/3018, published on Wednesday, 6 October 2021 by France Blue reveals that nearly 20% of children aged 8 to 18 say they have been victims. The majority of those targeted are young girls (51%).
The children surveyed reported being cyberbullied out of jealousy and revenge (45 %), because of differences in tastes and behaviour (38 %), or because of physical differences and appearance (36 %).
