PEGI now informs parents about the presence of in-app purchases in certain video games thanks to a new content descriptor.
This new «In-app purchases» item (visual) applies to all games that allow virtual goods to be purchased with real money. It will appear at the end of the year on all video games sold in shops and online.
At e-Enfance, the testers at Jeux Vidéo Info Parents always inform you of the presence of in-app purchases during their tests.
«This new descriptor is very good news and will enable parents to exercise greater control over video games,» confirms Justine Atlan, Managing Director of e-Enfance. .
