Legal action could block access to the most popular pornographic websites.
Pornhub, Xhamster, Xvideos, YouPorn, RedTube... All of these porn sites could soon become inaccessible in France. At the end of July, two associations, Association e-Enfance/3018 and La Voix de l'Enfant, filed an urgent application with the Paris District Court, which will rule on Thursday 9 September. The request targets all French internet service providers, who are being asked to block access to nine of the world's largest pornographic websites on the grounds that they do not sufficiently protect minors from accessing their content.
