Open the Screen Time sub-section (white hourglass icon on a purple background), and you will see the following options:

• Downtime: Set a schedule for screen-free time. During downtime, only the apps you choose and phone calls will be permitted.

• Application limits: Set daily time limits for the categories of apps you want to manage. Limits are reset every day at midnight.

• Communication limits: These limits apply to contacts on your phone, FaceTime, Messenger, and iCloud. Communications to emergency numbers identified by your operator are always permitted. These communication limits can be set during permitted screen time and/or downtime.

• Always permitted:
– Select the apps that will always be permitted and available during downtime.
– Select the contacts (emergency numbers) to which communications will always be permitted.

• Content and privacy: Allows you to block changes to application and service settings, or even codes.

You will need to set up a PIN by clicking on “Use Screen Time Passcode‘ to protect your settings.

Once you have made your settings, you can instantly apply the same settings to another Apple device by clicking on “Share across devices”.
