Our Managing Director, Justine Atlan, was invited onto the set of France News television on the subject of bullying at school, the responsibility of educational institutions and the solutions to be implemented to tackle it.
She specifies that the work of awareness has been done and that the children and their families now know what harassment and feel more entitled to talk about it. The problem today is mainly the response to families that is not up to standard.
She adds:
«We must not overwhelm the education staff national individually. Often, they want to take action without knowing how to do so. That is why they have tendency to refuse to deal with the situation.”
→ That is why she emphasises the need for training:
“It is necessary to train all adults who receive the child's word. This includes National Education staff but also the parents and parents' associations. Everyone must have the same information and reflexes to be implemented in response to these situations of harassment.
