Justine Atlan, Chief Executive Officer of the Association, interviewed on the set of France News to address the issue of online scams.
She reveals that the teenagers are a prime target for online fraudsters: «Today, this increasingly affects children and adolescents. [...] Fraudsters target vulnerable people who are confined to their homes. social media without much control. […]
«The perpetrators of these scams are big players." manipulators, who use psychological techniques to get what they want from their victims.»
She also explains the phenomenon of revenge pornography and of the sextortion which particularly affect young adolescents, and stresses the importance of not blaming the victims.
