The first administrative blocks on websites accused of promoting terrorism or offering child pornography content were activated on Sunday, 15 March 2015.
To date, five websites have been affected. These host content promoting jihadism (official texts from the Islamic State organisation, Inspire magazine, translated speeches by El-Baghdadi, etc.).
Internet users attempting to connect to these sites encounter the following message, accompanied by a pictogram representing a red hand:
«You have been redirected to this official website because your computer was about to connect to a page whose content incites acts of terrorism or publicly condones acts of terrorism. There are two other warning messages for administrative blocks: one announcing a page »containing child pornography images« and the other announcing »illegal content« without further details.
