SUMMARY

Fifa 17 is a football simulation game comprising several modes: Story mode, Career mode, Club Pro mode, Fifa Ultimate Team mode, Online Season mode, and Cup mode.

  •  In Story Mode, you play as Alex Hunter, a young English football prodigy. He will face important choices in his career.
  • Career mode allows you to create a player or coach avatar, join a club and play matches to lead it to victory. (Note that the coach also manages player transfers.)
  • Club Pro (multiplayer mode) allows you to create a player avatar. You then need to create or join a friend's Club Pro and play matches ranging from 2-on-2 to 11-on-11. Playing matches increases your player's statistics, which in turn increases their overall rating.
  • Fifa Ultimate Team (multiplayer mode) is the only mode with in-app purchases on FIFA. The goal is to build the best team possible. To do this, you have to play matches that allow you to earn credits. All players come from opening packs in the Shop. These packs can be purchased with credits, or by buying FIFA points with real money. The contents of a pack are purely random. In this mode, you can play against computers or other online players and move up the divisions. Starting this year, an eSport module called FUTChampions has been added. During the week, from Monday to Thursday evening, players must win a competition that qualifies them for the FUTChampions Weekend League. This consists of playing forty matches between Friday and Monday morning. The more matches a player wins, the higher their rank and the better their rewards. After 18 wins, players automatically qualify for the following weekend's league.
  • Online season mode involves selecting an existing football team and competing against opponents online in 1-on-1 or 2-on-2 matches.
  • Cup mode is played offline. You choose a cup and a team accordingly. The goal is to win everything so that the team becomes champion.
