Civic service, key figures from the Crédoc report

On 1 June 2015, civic service became universal. This means that, as of that date, all young people under the age of 25 must be able to apply to get involved in order to experience community life, citizenship and the public interest.

Enjoying a positive image among the French population, a fraction of which believes that its accessibility should be improved. These are the initial findings of the report commissioned by INJEO from CREDOC on youth engagement.

– 6/10 cite as the primary benefits a positive effect in terms of integration and personal and voluntary fulfilment.
– 1/3 value above all its usefulness for society and for the host organisations
