SUMMARY
APEX Legends, EA's new battle royale game from the creators of Titanfall (a futuristic war game). The goal is simple: 20 teams of 3 players compete on a map, and the last team standing are “The Champions”. The game was released in early February 2019 and has overtaken Fortnite and League of Legends in social media trends. The game is free and available on various platforms.

Despite the many battle royale games on the market (Fortnite, PUBG, H1Z1, etc.) and more recently Call of Duty, APEX Legends manages to stand out with its well-constructed futuristic universe (you can see the Titanfall influences). EA has managed to take the best ideas from other games and remove their flaws. The battle royale is exclusively FPS (first person shooter). A game lasts an average of 25 minutes, which means you don't get too bored.
The real novelty is that you have to choose one of eight characters before the game starts, each with their own characteristics. For example, the character Bloodhound is an expert tracker who will search for opponents' footprints. As is often the case in video games, there are several classes: TANK (those who take the damage). Support or HEAL (those who support players by healing or using characteristics that help our teammates). DPS (those who are there to deal damage quickly).
The game is highly strategic, even more so than its competitors, as team spirit and, above all, communication within the team will be essential. You'll need to be fully equipped to have the best chance of survival: armour (to take more damage), a helmet (to reduce headshots), a rucksack (to carry more equipment) and other items that you'll need to share with your teammates to be as effective as possible. Voice communication is therefore essential.
The game is free, but like many of its counterparts, it is possible to decorate and equip weapons, outfits, and finishing moves by purchasing credits.
Pros: Attractive, very smooth, fast, encourages strategy, and it's free.
Cons: The servers are overloaded.
