Supporting your children in their use of the internet is essential to ensure that they learn to use the web responsibly as early as possible. Here are our tips for protect and raise awareness among young people :

1. Explain what identity theft is. and why some people may be interested in their passwords and personal data.
2. Explain to them how to create a strong password. to guess, comprising a mixture of letters, symbols and numbers. Help them understand that passwords such as «123456» or «password», or those created from their home address or date of birth, are too easy to guess.
3. Encourage them to let you know if they receive a message from a stranger., a link or an e-mail asking them for information about their account.
4. Show them how to spot scams by explaining to them that some of them look like messages from a friend. If a message seems suspicious, suggest that they check it with you.
5. Discuss with them the information that should remain confidential., such as their home address, school or passwords. Encourage them to let you know if anyone asks them for this kind of information.
