Invited by South Radio following the statements by Nicole Belloubet, Minister of National Education and Youth, Justine Atlan, The Chief Executive of the e-Enfance Association / 3018 is in favour of the idea that secondary school pupils should leave their mobile phones in a box at the entrance to their school.
She sees several advantages in this:
“This promotes a complete disconnection. The teenager knows he does not have his phone with him, which causes him to feel anxious. serenity for learning.”
« It also lets parents know that they will not be contacting their children during school hours. Many parents have gotten into the habit of doing so, which can create an unhealthy relationship.”
Not seeing one's notifications and not being able to look at their phones will be calming for the pupils.
