Every day, new applications emerge on the web and can become a phenomenon among teenagers. Snapchat has been the «star» of our teenagers for several months now.
Snapchat allows its users to send photos with one special feature: the photos disappear after 1 to 10 seconds, depending on the settings chosen. This application therefore allows users to send «sexting» messages or other indecent, shocking or humiliating images.
However, the e-Enfance Association points out that it is always possible to take a screenshot to save and share these photos, which are then no longer ephemeral.
