SUMMARY
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a first-person shooter game. The game takes place during the Cold War, in the early 1980s. Players take on the role of soldiers sent by the American president to iconic locations such as East Berlin, Vietnam and Turkey to fight against KGB agents.
It's difficult to recommend Black Ops Cold War when its predecessor does everything better, or almost everything. While its campaign is very enjoyable and features some good gameplay ideas wrapped up in 1980s action movie tropes, its multiplayer mode is disappointing. This Call of Duty game may require voice chat to communicate with other players you don't know. It is violent and mature in its storyline, and features numerous microtransactions.
