NBA 2K17 is a basketball simulation game which, like previous games in the franchise, realistically recreates the National Basketball Association (NBA) experience. Players mainly play with NBA players, but they can also play as characters they have created themselves. The game follows the rules and objectives of basketball. Several game modes are available to players and many settings can be customised. The game contains many real-life features such as crowd animations, pre-game, half-time and post-game commentary, and entertainment. NBA 2K17 is also much more accessible than its predecessors, thanks to better-designed controls and a tutorial that allows beginners to learn the subtleties and rules of basketball.
