SUMMARY
The game's story takes place 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3. The player takes on the role of James Dominic «JD» Fenix, the son of Marcus Fenix, the hero of the first three instalments. As the player returns from a mission, Kait's mother, a friend of James, is kidnapped by pale monsters, and this is where our heroes' journey begins. The game also allows two players to play on the same machine. Automatic saves occur at regular intervals to record the player's progress. The multiplayer mode offers several game modes such as battle, weapon race and horde.
