The France Inter teams visited the 3018 platform to observe the work of the listeners and interview Samuel Comblez, Director of Operations at 3018, about the’entry into force of the Digital Services Act (DSA), new European regulation on digital services.
On the changes to come, he explains: “Platforms will have to respond more quickly and report on the actions they have taken. If a report has not had any effect, they will also have to justify their actions. The DSA will make platforms more accountable and ensure that reports are systematically followed up with concrete action..”
As a reminder, penalties for non-compliance with the regulations will include fines of up to 61% of the company's global turnover, or even a ban on use throughout the European Union.
