On Safer Internet Day 2018, e-Enfance co-signed an opinion piece in the Huffington Post calling on public authorities and the media to step up media literacy education in schools and combat the phenomenon of fake news.
Eight out of ten French people believe in conspiracy theories, according to an IFOP survey conducted for Conspiracy Watch and the Jean Jaurès Foundation. It is therefore essential to continue developing critical thinking skills in young people so that they can consume information in an informed manner and combat the phenomenon of fake news.
