SUMMARY
Football Manager 2017 is a football strategy and simulation game featuring several modes: Career Mode, Fantasy Draft, Online Career and Club Creation. It has an impressive amount of data with leagues from around the world.
- Career mode allows you to create a coach (us), who then chooses whether to start without a club or choose the one they want to coach. From there, the player manages absolutely everything in the club. They must manage their players, their training sessions, the technical staff, as well as transfers and contracts. They can also choose to delegate certain tasks (e.g. transfers and contracts to their sporting director or recruitment manager).
- Fantasy Draft mode is an online mode for playing with friends. All players in the game start with the same amount of money and buy players to build their team. Then, it plays out like a career mode, except that you sometimes have to wait for all players to reach the same level (same time to move on to the next day). Players compete according to the schedule generated in their career.
- Online Career mode works exactly the same way as offline Career mode. The only difference is that enemy teams are not controlled solely by AI, but also by friends.
- Club Creation mode can be played solo or multiplayer. When you start a game, you choose an existing club. From there, you can choose whether to keep the club's technical staff. You can create imaginary players for the club and choose which players from the original club stay or leave. You can also customise the club by importing a logo that you have created yourself.

This game contains no violence, and the dialogue (between the coach (us) and the players or other members of the technical staff) is quite civilised, even when there is disagreement between the characters.
