SUMMARY

Fire Emblem: Three Houses takes place in the world of Fodlan, ruled by the religious community of Seiros. The player takes on the role of Byleth, the son of a mercenary who becomes a teacher at the Seiros Academy. In addition to teaching classes to improve his students' skills, the player must also deal with forces that threaten the community. Battles are turn-based: the player manages the movements of their students in order to defeat the opposing team. Once all of their units have moved, it is the opposing team's turn, and so on. In addition, Fire Emblem Three Houses emphasises the relationships between students and teachers, which are fundamental to the game.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses addresses themes such as death and the context of war can be seen as violent even if there is no not really any shocking images. A large part of the themes seem inaccessible to younger audiences. A few micro-payments give access to additional content. On the multiplayer side, the inability to communicate directly prevents hateful behaviour and harassment.
