SUMMARY

Final Fantasy XIV is a massively multiplayer game. From the outset, players are asked to choose their race and class from a dozen options. They then follow a storyline that guides them through the game. In the first part of the game, which runs up to level 50, players travel through the world of Eorzea with a group of non-player characters. They must face the dark threat of the great Bahamut. The game can be played alone or with other players. Players progress by completing objectives and killing creatures. Once they reach the maximum level, the game changes and the focus shifts to mastering their character and killing creatures in an organised group.

As an MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game), violence is central to the game, as players must kill in order to progress. Due to its complexity and violence, it is not suitable for young audiences. There is no additional paid content at this time.
