Combating cyberbullying: Orange is joining forces with the government to make a tangible contribution to this important national cause.

On National Anti-Bullying Day, Orange is renewing its support for the e-Enfance Association with the new 3018 app, whose launch was announced by the Head of State.

The 3018 app aims to enable victims and witnesses of cyberbullying to send screenshots of bullying incidents so that they can receive even better support. This new tool reinforces the resources available to the free 3018 helpline set up in 2021 to support young victims of digital violence and cyberbullying.

Operated by the e-Enfance Association, recognised as a public utility for its work in protecting minors on the internet for 15 years, 3018 is free, anonymous and confidential. As a trusted third party for social networks (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Yubo, YouTube, etc.), 3018 can make priority reports and have harmful content removed within a few hours.

Available by telephone 6 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., on 3018.fr via chat, Messenger and WhatsApp, it supports teenagers, parents and professionals on all issues relating to the protection of minors on the Internet.

As a long-standing sponsor of the e-Enfance Association and the national helpline number 3018, Orange wishes to provide practical support by participating in the development and distribution of the application.

Stéphane Richard, Chief Executive Officer of Orange Group: « We must all take action to protect young people from the scourge of cyberbullying. Orange will work alongside the government and the e-Enfance/3018 Association to make a tangible contribution to this important national cause.».

Justine Atlan, Chief Executive Officer of the e-Enfance Association and 3018: « Orange is a long-standing sponsor of the e-Enfance Association, notably through the promotion of parental controls and, more recently, the provision of the national short number 3018. We would like to thank the operator for once again offering us its help and support in strengthening the care provided to young victims of cyberbullying. ».
