Facebook launches a portal dedicated to parents

The social network Facebook announces the launch of its new portal for parents  It thus complements the Facebook Safety Centre and responds to a growing demand for questions regarding the proper use of Facebook for children.

The social network offers practical advice and tips to help parents share content about their children (images, videos, etc.) safely and to enable them to support their teenagers when they join the platform.
The e-Enfance Association reminds you of the main rules for proper use of social media:
1. Get to know the social networks your children use: this portal is a good tool to help you do so.
2. Respect the legal age for their use: Facebook is accessible from the age of 13.
3. Make your children aware of the dangers of social media as soon as they sign up.
4. Check the privacy settings of their account together.
