SUMMARY
The story begins in Dunwall, 15 years after the end of the first game. Emily, now older, has become Empress and attends the arrival of the Duke of Serkonos, Lucas Abell, and a witch, Delilah Copperspoon. Declared the rightful Empress before the crowd, Emily and Corvo are attacked by the guard for treason, usurpation, and the murders committed in Emily's name by the «Crown Killer». The player manages to flee to the harbour, where they leave Dunwall by sea.

It is possible to progress through the game without killing our enemies. It is the player's choice: if they choose to kill, the game can be very violent (blood, mutilation, etc.).
