SUMMARY

Third instalment in the Black Ops series. The game takes place in 2065, where Raul Menendez's drone attacks (see Black Ops 2) have led to the creation of an anti-drone system called Directed Energy Air Defence (D.E.A.D). New soldiers have emerged, known as «black ops», combining technology and human qualities. The player takes on the role of one of these soldiers, who finds himself caught up in a conflict between two superpowers (Russia and the European Union). They are fighting over the planet's energy and natural resources as it undergoes significant global warming.

The game is intended for mature audiences, as the single-player mode contains many violent scenes and coarse language. The multiplayer mode has a theoretically infinite lifespan, which presents a risk of addiction. Unprepared players may encounter verbal abuse from the community. Four paid content packs are also available and can be purchased separately.
