SUMMARY
This new instalment in the famous Battlefield series plunges players into the hell of the First World War. The single-player mode consists of several short campaigns/missions. Each of these campaigns features a different hero. Several perspectives on the war are presented, from the viewpoint of an English pilot to that of an Italian soldier. Multiplayer mode allows up to 64 players to battle it out on nine different maps (from the Italian mountains to the Egyptian desert). Several game modes are available, including classic modes (Rush, Conquest) and new modes (War Pigeons, Operations). Players can take on several roles, each with its own equipment and weapons. Experience is gained by killing enemies or completing objectives, which unlocks new weapons.

This game is one of the few modern games that immerses the player in the First World War and references these historical events. Some maps, stories and quests (particularly for the French side) are only available via DLC (additional purchases that can be added to the game). This game therefore features numerous violent and bloody scenes, as well as strong language. Battlefield also has an in-game purchase system, so please be careful.
