From 19 to 25 March 2018, Education and Action Week Against Racism and Anti-Semitism will take place. The aim is to give a strong national impetus to educational initiatives for the prevention of racism and anti-Semitism and the defence and promotion of human rights.

The Ministry of National Education and the Interministerial Delegation for the Fight against Racism, Anti-Semitism and Anti-LGBT Hatred (Dilcrah) joined this fight by creating the website in 2016. Educating against racism and anti-Semitism.

2017 review and 2018 national plan:

In 2017, more than 600 local and national projects were funded under the interministerial plan to combat racism and anti-Semitism.

«Our duty is to continue the fight. To continue it by adapting it.».

During this week of national action, Prime Minister Édouard Philippe presented a national plan to combat racism and anti-Semitism (2018-2020) on 19 March. It focuses on four areas and comprises 21 measures, including:

  1. Combating hate on the internet
  2. Educating against racism and antisemitism
  3. Protecting citizens and supporting victims
  4. Investing in new areas of engagement

National mobilisation #TousUnisContreLaHaine (All United Against Hate):

Throughout this week, associations, schools and cultural institutions are mobilising to combat hatred and intolerance.

The Association e-Childhood works with the Dilcrah to integrate the fight against racism and the’anti-Semitism in its modules awareness on IInternet.

The Net Ecoute 3018 helpline is available to young victims of discriminations and remarks hateful on IInternet.
