Thursday, 7 November 2019 will be during the day No to Harassment implemented by the Ministry of National Education since 2012. Each year, mobilisation around the efforts to combat bullying in schools are being stepped up, aBoth in educational institutions through initiatives taken by the Ministry, training for teachers and supervisory staff, and through raising awareness among young people, victims or witnesses.
The first campaigns dealt with rumours or insults, as bullying in schools can affect all pupils. The focus was then placed on freedom of speech: every pupil to become an active participant in this struggle, by reporting harassing behaviour. Last year, the theme was cyberbullying was featured in the awareness campaign to remind people of theThe increasingly important role of new forms of communication.
