‘@13reasonwhyFRA: they share their stories!

The series 13 Reasons Why is getting a lot of attention right now, and we at e-Enfance think that's great. But on Twitter, it's actually another account that everyone in France is talking about, not the official series account: @13reasonwhyFRA. Why is that?

Talking about it, sharing your experience:

«It's important to talk about it!»

Here is what the creator of the Twitter account told us when we contacted her. Having been bullied at school during her teenage years, she was eagerly awaiting the launch of the series. The 23-year-old was surprised by the number of testimonials she received via Twitter. She posted new testimonials every day to raise awareness of the issue.

Support for others:

«I wanted to be there for people who have experienced this type of harassment.»

At e-Enfance, we support this initiative more than ever because it is small actions like this that, when combined, support our mission to protect children on the Internet. We warmly thanked this woman (who wishes to remain anonymous) and concluded our conversation with the following words: «Let's all work together to combat bullying at school and cyberbullying.».

Let us work together to combat online harassment and violence!
