Google offers a SafeSearch feature to filter its search engine results by removing explicit content.
To register the activation of the SafeSearch function, you must have a Google account (or a GMAIL address).
When SafeSearch is enabled, the message «SafeSearch feature locked» appears in the top right corner of the search results page.
1 – Open your usual browser and go to the Google Search homepage. In the bottom right corner, click on Settings then Search parameters.
2 – On the page that opens, tick the option Enable SafeSearch. Scroll down and then click on Save. You must repeat this operation on each Internet browser you use and for each user profile defined on the computer. The browser must also be configured to accept cookies.
Please note that you can also lock SafeSearch to prevent others from disabling it. To do this, still in the search settings, click on the link Lock SafeSearch then confirm your choice. To reverse this setting, follow the same procedure and then click on the link.
